Show SHIELD VENTURE WILL HELP LITTER PROBLEMS, YOUTH Save that old tin can! A new venture for Shield Development should help the litter problem around Milford, give the kids a way to make a little spending money and very likely will cause a rush on the city dump. Shield Development has purchased pur-chased a shredder to cut up old tin cans for use at their mill west of Milford in making cement ce-ment iron. Youth organizations, churches and individuals may collect or save their old tin cans, clean them up to the mill's specifi-crtions specifi-crtions and deliver them to the mill for a cent a pound, according ac-cording to Ralf Kleine, manager. man-ager. They will take all you can come up with, the mill uses 250 tons per month now and expect to double that by next August.
