Show August 1970 was the 3rd hottest hot-test in the 62-year history of Milford weather with a minimum min-imum average of 75.9. The only two years which are recorded as being hotter in August are 1940 with an average aver-age of 76.4 and 1969 with 77.1. 1970 rated a second place tie for the highest minimum average with 1946 at 59.0 with the minimum average of 59.6 in 1969 being the highest.
