Show JOE KAUFMAN MARRIED IN CALIF. Miss Barbara Todd and Mr joe Kaufman were united in emony at the Porterville , Cal phlir;h of the Nazarene on Au" 9 Rev. Olin Krehbiel, tcTe of the groom performed ihe ceremony, assisted by Re Donald Smith, pastor oi Porterville Nazarene Cnurcn. PThe new Mrs. Kaufman s the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Todd of Porterville-Joe Porterville-Joe is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Kaufman of Black Rock. The bride came down the aisle on the arm of her father wearing a lovely floor length gown of white silk organza over white satin. The empire waist was scalloped and accented ac-cented with seed pearls at the neckline. The bodice was applied ap-plied -ith lace. The long sleeves came to a point at the wrist. , The train was cathedial length of silk organza with lace applique. The veil was elbow length, tiered of siU illusion attached to an arrange ment of silk organza flowers accented with pearls and aurora borealis chrystals. The bride carried a cascade of white daisies and baby's breath centered on a lace covered cov-ered Bible. Maid of honor was Miss Carol Todd, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Patricia McMillen, Mrs. Sandra Clark, Mrs Marilyn Seim and Mrs. Sharon Meir. Misses Randi and April Todd were flower girls. Jim Kaufman served his brother as best man. Ushers were Jerry Todd, John Todd, Hal McMillen and Duane Meier. Pages were Jimmy Todd and I Steven Waszak. Preceding the wedding, a re. hearsal dinner was held in the garden of Mr. and Mrs. William Russell. The bride is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara. She now teaches in the Whittier schools. Mr. Kaufman is a graduate of Fresno State College and is now an engineer at Ford Motor Co. in Pico Rivera. After a honeymoon trip to Lake Tahoe, the newlyweds are now at home in Whittier. |
