Smith of Beaver, and Mr. Mark L. Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Thompson of Minersville, took place in the Minersville LDS Chapel on Saturday, July 27th. The couple stood under a beautiful arch laden with white and yellow gladioli and pale yellow satin and satin bows, flanked with baskets of glads. A reception feted the newly-weds newly-weds following the ceremony. The bride was lovely in a hand made peau de soi floor length A-line gown, fashioned with an empire waistline, a scooped neckline and short sleeves. Tiny buttons were arranged ar-ranged down the front. To accent ac-cent the charm, old fashioned point d' alencon lace bordered the hemline, topped with insertion in-sertion lace with narrow satin ribbon threaded though the lace. A detachable chapel train completed the elegant look. She held an array of white flowers centered with yellow, in keeping keep-ing with the yellow and white decor. Her veil of illusion was caught to a tulle rose headpiece. head-piece. Maid of honor was Miss Carol Williams, and her other attendants were Miss Ryma Evans, Miss Laurie Bonner, Miss Rebecca Thompson and Miss Tamra Oakden. Mr. Randy Muir acted as best man, and ushers included Eddie Bradshaw, Ron Wilson, Larry Maycock and Bruce Brown. The newlyweds are making their home in Las Vegas. |
