Show MR. AND MRS. DICK JONES TO OBSERVE 0th ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Dick) Jones will observe their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house in the Milford LDS Church on Saturday, Feb. 24. All their friends and the general gen-eral public are invited to the observance, which starts at 8 p .m. There will be a program 'and dancing. The couple request no gifts. Evan Richard Jones was born April 23, 1889, in Adamsville, to John G. and Mary Ann Griffiths Jones. He married Cora Ellen Martin, Feb. 9, 1908, in Beaver. They moved to Milford in July, 1923, where he was employed in the shops by the Union Pacific Railroad. He also had worked as a miner. Mrs. Jones was born June 9, ' 1890, in Greenville, to Dan Oliver and Sarah Jane Edwards I Martin. She attended the Greenville schools and Mur-' Mur-' dock Academy. Both have been ardent LDS Church workers. Mr. Jones has held the position of high priest, is a former bishop, Stake missionary and Temple j worker, and filled a mission to California. Mrs. Jones has been first counselor in the Ward Relief Society, has been a Stake missionary, a visiting Relief Society teacher for 40 ! years, and served a mission to California. She is a past president of the VFW Auxiliary, and a past county president of the DUP.
