Gillins Gil-lins and Miss Connie Burke on the evening cf Sept. 9 in the Milford L. D. -S. Chapel by Bishop Richard L. Jones. A reception followed. The couple stood under an arch adorned with pink satin and net, topped with two large wedding bells and a bouquet of pink gladioli and carnations, bowed with wide satin ribbon. Batkets of gladioli and carnations carna-tions completed, the elegant look. Mr. Gillins is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins, and the new Mrs. Gillins is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. El-I El-I den Burke. j In the bridal party were the matron of honor, Mrs. LaRena . Ames, sister of the bride; Miss Georgia Forest, maid of honor, and bridesmaids Miss Judy Whittaker, Miss Carol Hanley, Miss Susan Ames, and the flower girl, Miss Sherrie Thatcher. That-cher. Mr. Paul Roberts acted as best man and the ushers were Mr. Karl Robertson, Mr. Grant. Wadt.worth, Mr. Robert Wil-lingham Wil-lingham and Mr. Steven Mil-' lev. The bride was exquisitely powned in a dulcet white satin sat-in A-line floor length gown enhanced en-hanced with a fitted bodice o Venetian gras lace. The skirt hed scattered arrangements of the matching lace, complemented complement-ed with long pointed satin sleeves which were held together to-gether at the wrist with tiny covered buttons, and the neckline neck-line was scoop design. The satin chapel detachable train was held to the hack of the waist with a dainty 'bow. The handsome train was bordered with scalloped matching lace and scattered re-embroidered exquisite lace. Her fingertip veil of illusion was caught to a headpiece of three white roses. She held a bridal bouquet bou-quet of a centered orchid sur- Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gillins |
