Nev., Wednesday attending the district workshop of the Women's Wom-en's Society for Christian Service, Ser-vice, a Methodist Ladies organization. organ-ization. Nieces of the late Mrs. Lula Smith, Geneive and Beulah Otto of Rapids, Wise., spent several days last week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Smith. The ladies drove to Las Vegas, and last Saturday the Smiths met them In Salt Lake and took in the State Fair and other points of interest. This week Mrs. Smith's brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Ray of Los Angeles, are visiting at the Elmo Smith home, Roger and Janice Aagard and children of Granger visited parents Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Aagard and Mr, and Mrs. Steve Inman last week, and Roger enjoyed the archery hunt. e Mrs. Mabel Turner spent the week end in Ruth, Nev., with her son in law and daughter, Robert and Pat Davis and family, 0 Mr. and Mrs. Keith Leany have sold their trailer to Keith Gillins ,and moved into one of the Kohler Apartments. Thursday, Sept. 7, Old Timers Clubhouse, Cards follow luncheon, I have had many inquiries about Eddie Patterson, and when he will return to duty as a Milford city marshal. He reports that he is recovering nicely from his Jeep accident., in which he suffered a fractured frac-tured skull, head and face lacerations lac-erations and torn leg ligaments. He expects to return to work about Oct. 1, Kent Gillins, Vernon Erick-son, Erick-son, John Kirk and Grant Wadsworth left Monday for Salt Lake to enrol at Salt Lake Trade Teeh. All will take a barber course. O Mr. and Mrs. Tom Acklin spent their two week vacation at Puffers Lake, C Mr, and Mrs. Ed Holland are vacationing at Strawberry Reservoir, Res-ervoir, O Mike Schow and Steve Larson Lar-son will attend Utah Technical College in Salt Lake. Mike will take a machinist course and Steve will study welding. Mr. and Mrs. Val Thompson of Tooele and Leland Thompson Thomp-son of Salt Lake spent Labor Day at the home of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson, Thomp-son, and the group enjoyed a camping trip in the West Hills. Ci Normand, Calvin and Tammy Hollis have returned to their home in LaMirada, Calif., after spending their vacation with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hollis. Sharlene Wellington and Jerry Price will enroll at the LDS Business College in Salt Lake on Sept. 16.
