CLAIR GILLINS 9 Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gale and sons of Cedar City spent the Labor Day week end with Mrs. Gale's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker and family, fam-ily, and also visited Mr. and Mrs. James Mayer and family. t Miss Linda Sherwood was home over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sherwood and sister Laura. Linda is teaching at the Blanding High School. O Mr. and Mrs. Carl Goodwin and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bond spent Saturday in Salt Lake at the Fair, and Sunday visited relatives in Orem. Mrs. Bob (Louise) McKnight will teach school this year at Enterprise High School. S Visiting their mother, Mrs. Elva Lofthouse, were Mr. and Mrs. James Maxwell and children chil-dren of Nephi; also a grandson, grand-son, David Holm of Cedar City, spent several days with her last week. Visiting at the Duard Evans home last week were their son Boyd and boys of Pleasant Grove. C Miss Linda Sherwood and Mrs. Louise McKnight gave a linen shower honoring Miss Marsha Smith last Saturday evening at the home of Clair Gillins in Milford. 9 George Smith and H. Naruse made a business trip to Delta Tuesday. 9 Duane Yardley and boys will take cattle to the livestock shew in Cedar City Thursday. Ci Miss Odette Mayer left Friday Fri-day for California to resume her schooling. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gillins and Mrs. Thelma Gillins attended at-tended a' family reunion in Henderson, Nev., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Gillins, over the Labor Day week end. |
