Miss Toan Wood, daughter oi Mrs ""lanche Wood of Abilene, 'exas, and Doug Cook of Mil- rd were united in rnarria" n a beautiful garden setting it the home of the groom's sis-!er, sis-!er, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Alley of Denver, Colo. The bride wore a beige heath dress with lace neckline md sleeves, and carried a bou-.uet bou-.uet of white carnations. She .vore a small gold cross neck-ace neck-ace a gift of the groom. They were attended by Mr. 'nd Mrs. Marvin Elmore of jrucrnsey, Wyo., formerly of Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. vhere Mr. Elmore and the groom served together in the V S Air Force. Rev. LeRoy Allen of the Eastlake, Colo., Congregational Church officiated at the double ring ceremony. Wedding cake and coffee were served immediately following fol-lowing the ceremony. The newlyweds left on a short honeymoon trip to Rocky Mountain National Park, Colo. Doug received his discharge July 14 after serving 4 years in the U S Air Force. Mrs. Bertha Cottrell and her sister, Mrs. Bessie Synder of Huntington Hunt-ington Park, Calif., attended j the wedding. ' I |
