Show RALPH THOMPSON DIES OF GUNSHOT GUN-SHOT INJURIES Ralph William Thompson 49 died at 2 a. m. Wednesday' Nov. 30, in the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital, from injuries in-juries following an acicdental gunshot wound. He suffered abdominal and hip wounds when his .22 calibre cal-ibre pistol discharged Nov. 13 while he was attempting to extract ex-tract a lodged shell. Mi'. Thompson was born in Greenville, Aug. 22, .1917, to William and Verna Dalley Thompson. He married Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Casterllne, Oct. 24, 1939, in Milford. He had been employed for 24 years as a Union Pacific brakeman. He was an ardent sportsman, and spent much time hunting and trapping. Surviving are his widow, -his parents; a son and two daughters, RoiAald R. Thompson Thomp-son and Mrs. Paul (Barbara) Clark, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. David (Bernice) Lohn, Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandahil-dren; grandahil-dren; two sisetrs and two brothers, Mrs. Richard (Leah) Foerster and Earl Thompson, Bountiful; Warren Thompson, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Charles (Thelma) Jeppson, of American Fork. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Friday afternoon in the LDS Church. There will be no viewing of the body. |
