Show 1 CLASS OF '2S HOLDS REUNION By Mrs. George A. Morton On July 4 of last year a few members the Milford High School Class of 1925 got together to-gether for a reunion commem-- commem-- orating the 40th anniversary of their graduation. Those present pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. George A Horton, Mrs. Arvilla Lcav-"itt, Lcav-"itt, Mrs. Ethel Jordan and Mrs. Bessie Hancock. Melvin Stanley, as chairman of the reunion for 1966, arranged ar-ranged for a reunion at the Temple Square Hotel m Salt Lake on Sunday, Sept. 4. A group of 34, including two former principals, spent a most pleasant time renewing acquaintances and recounting experiences of their school days. Mr. Stanley was assisted by his wife Vera, and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Winans, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Muir and Arvilla Leavitt helped with special features and table decorating, using shrubs and greenery from the Milford area. Mrs. Leavitt was elected chairman for the coming year, with Mrs. Beryl Young as secretary. sec-retary. Attending this year were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glenn, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Muir, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. K. B. Coon, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Fernley, Mr. and Mrs. Les Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hillary, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Winans, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Georga A. Horton, H. V. (Vic) Carlson, Carl-son, Mrs. Helen Leech, Mrs. Louise Campbell, Mrs. Bessie Hancock and daughter Karen, Mrs. Arvilla Leavitt, Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Terry and Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Pixton. Mr. Terry was principal in 1923- 24 and Mr. Pixton in 1924- 25. |
