Show ALTMANS TO BE FETED ON GOLDEN WEDDING DATE Miss Lois Altman will honor her parents, Mr. and Mrs. -Isadore Altman, at an open house between 2:30 and 5:3ft p. m. Sunday, Feb. 13, at the Milford Methodist Church. jv. Tthe occasion will be the Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Altman, who were married Feb. 15, 1916, in Los Angeles. All friends of the Altman's are invited to attend. They request no gifts. ; j . Mr. Altman was born June 16, 1887, in Czecko-Slovakia, to Leopold and Fannie Wein- 1 berger Altman. He came to Milford in 1919 and has operated operat-ed Altman's clothing store since that time. He served one term as a member of the Milford Town Board of Trustees, and a term as City Councilman after Milford Mil-ford was declared a city, He is a past master of Albert Al-bert Pike Lodge No. 14. Free and Accepted Masons of Utabi Mrs. Altman was born in Denver, Colo., to Sam and Sara Armstein Amter. She has been associated with her husband in operation of their store since coming to Milford. She is a past worthy matron of Ruth Chapter No. 6, Order ( of Eastern Star. They have three children: Lois Altman, Milford; Maxine Babus, and Shirlee Ivers. |
