Show ENCHANTED TREES CHRISTMAS DISPLAY CONTINUED AT SUSC The annual "Hall of Enchanted Enchant-ed Trees" will open at Southern South-ern Utah State College on Monday, Mon-day, Dec. 3 at 6;30 p.m. A special program will be provided pro-vided by the SUSC Music Department De-partment and refreshments will be served to spectators. The public is invited to attend. Professor Fred C. Adams, advisor to the Drama Club, sponsor of the yearly display, said that a decision was made to retain the Christmas display although it was felt necessary to eliminate for this year the lighting light-ing of the giant blue spruce campus Christmas tree. Themes chosen for the special spe-cial tree display in the foyer of the auditorium will include "Guys and Dolls," "Sleigh Bells Ring," "Ziegfeld," and "Candy land". Children will find their favorite fa-vorite cereal on the "Christmas Crunch" tree, a colorful concoction con-coction of breakfast goodies. This year's "Creche" is a Byzantine creation of stained glass, and the "Timberline," perpetuated each year as the symbolic tree of the display, gleam in its blue and green lights and tinsel. The display will be open each evening from 6 to 8 p.m. through Dec. 24, Prof. Adams said. |
