Show TREE PLANTERS: PLAN NOW FOR SPRING ACTIVITIES The. State Forester's Office this week announced that order forms for tree seedlingfrom the State Tree Seedling Nursery are available from the section's area offices. Clyn Bishop, Assistant State Forester In charge of the tree seedling nursery at Logan stressed the importance of ordering or-dering the over -demanded trees and shrubs now. Some 450,000 seedlings of 19 differing species will be sold to Utah residents next spring. Minimum orders are for 100 trees of each species. The trees are distributed to be used for a variety of conservation and land management purposes. Mr. Bishop pointed out that plantings plant-ings must be performed for reforestation, re-forestation, erosion control, wildlife habitat, windbreaks, Christmas tree plantations or for environmental plantlngpur-poses. plantlngpur-poses. While admittedly it is difficult diffi-cult to envision planting trees with snow covering the ground, proper planning and early ordering or-dering are essential.
