Show ORDINANCE NO. 24 An Ordinance Amending Section Sec-tion 2-7, Revised Ordinances of the City of Milford, 1968, relating re-lating Registration and Annual Tax on Dogs. BE IT ORDADTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MILFORD, UTAH: Section 1. That Section 2-7 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Milford, 1968, relating to Registration and Annual Tax on Dogs in the City of Milford, Utah, be and the same is hereby here-by amended to read as follows: DOGS TO BE REGISTERED. ANNUAL TAX. PENALTY. It shall be unlawful for any person per-son to own or keep a dog within with-in the, limits of this City with-out with-out making application to the City Recorder for that purpose and paying to the City Recorder, for the benefit of the City, an annual tax of Twenty Dollars, ($20.00) for female dogs that have not been spayed, and Five Dollars, ($5.00) for male dogs and for female dogs that have been spayed. The Recorder shall register the, applicant's name and a description of the dog, and give to such applicant a certificate of registry. Any person violating any of the provisions of this Section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, misde-meanor, and upon a first conviction con-viction thereof shall be, punished pun-ished by a fine of not less than Fifty Dollars, ($50.00) or more than One Hundred Dollars, ($100.00) and upon a second conviction con-viction thereof shall be punished pun-ished by a fine of not less than One Hundred Dollars, ($100.00) or more than One Hundred Fifty Fif-ty Dollars, ($150.00). Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its publication. Passed by the City Council of the City of Milford, Utah, this 3rd day of December, 1973. Eugene. H.
