GEORGE TEMPLE The St. George Temple was the setting for the wedding of Miss Tonya Carter, daughter of Mrs. Ernest Myers and the late Clair Carter, cf Minersville and Mr. Brent Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Taylor, Springville. Spring-ville. on Sept. 7th, 1973. Matron of Honor for Tonya was her sister Tamara, Mrs. Kent Gillins. Other attendants were Doris Hollingshead, JoAnn Anderson, Jann Owens, Michele Myers, and Pauline Taylor. The Best Man was Bruce Taylor. Tay-lor. Ushers were Rcbert Twit-chell, Twit-chell, Dee Perry, Ken Bulloch, Blake Carter, and Dan Hancock. The bride's dress was made out of Italian Peau and English lace. The skirt was Italian Peau stitched to a shaped bodice with above normal waist line. The bodice was English lace with a lew round neckline over an under bodice with a star.d-up collar. Small lace daisies with pearls surrounded the round neckline. The sleeves were two piece, long and full. The upper sleeves were Italian Peau, covered cover-ed with lace, the lower sleeve was English lace gathered to a buttoned cuff. An 18 inch lace ruffle trimmed the bottom of the skirt. The veil was fastened to a tiera and decended to the floor. It was made cf nylon net and trimmed with small lace daisies and pearls. The bride's bouquet was red roses and pink carnations. A program and reception ware held in Minersville with Robert Puffer, an uncle of the bride as Master of Ceremonies. A prayer was given by Arlo Carter, an uncle; song, "Close to You" by Chuck Welch; song, "How I Love You," by JoAnn Anderson, song, "Twelth of Never," by Vickie Tucker; song "Temple by the River, by Kenneth Ken-neth Tobler; songs, "May You Always" and "My Best To You", dedicated to the couple by her parents, Ern and Shirley Myers. Clcsing prayer by David Myers. My-ers. The couple were honored by many friends and relatives. After a honeymoon to Idaho, the couple plan to make their home in Cedar City. The bride is a graduate of the cosmetology college at Cedar City and the groom graduated from Springville Spring-ville High School and is employed em-ployed by Bradshaw Auto Parts. |
