Show Jese E. Long, Principal T'-rcl'ment at Milfcrd High School has shown a slight increase in-crease over last year. Our present pres-ent enrollment is as follows: 7th Grade; 13 girls, 23 boys, total 36: 8th Grade; 15 girls, 14 boys, total 29: 9th Grade; 7 girls, 21 boys, total 23: 10th Grade; 17 gins. 18 boys, total 35: 11th Grade; 13 grls, 22 boys, total 35; 12th Grade: 13 girls, 15 boys, total 28. This makes a total of 78 girls, 113 beys a.nd a grand total of 191 students. M.ni Courses - Plans are being be-ing formulated to supplement our high school curriculm with mini courses. These will be- offered of-fered the second term and each faculty member will be assigned to oversee one of these courses. The mini courses will be an enrichment en-richment program of various subjects we cannot offer full time during the regular school year. We are honored to have our cheerleaders represent Milford High School and Milford at a special banguet in Salt Lake-City. Lake-City. A year ago they impressed the general manager of the Union Pacific with their special railroad cheer. They have been-invited been-invited by the general manager and public relations man to perform per-form again. A very special tranks to the business men for their cooperation coopera-tion and support of homecoming. We appreciate the main street business men and fuliy realize the vital and important part you contribute to the high school. We urge- parents to keep students stu-dents in school as much as possible. poss-ible. Good attendance is necessary neces-sary to insure a good school program. We urge parents to support us in improving high school attendance. Tardiness - Our first class is at 8:30. We urge parents to be aware of this and to have supervision sup-ervision over the students daily to see that they are on time. High School insurance is still avaJable and can in time of need help offset the cost of school accidents. It will pay for accidents acci-dents in physical education, shop, or even pay on school activities ac-tivities away from school. |
