Show Milford Teen To Compete for Title Miss Teenage Milford, Evelyn Yardley will represent Milford and the Milford Businessmen's Association this weekend, June 15, 16 and 17 at the Ramada Inn in Salt Lake City and compete com-pete for the title of Miss Utah Teen-Ager. The Miss Utah Teen-Ager Teen-Ager Pageant is the official state be competing with girls from all over the state of Utah for the title. They will be judged on scholastic achievement, leadership, leader-ship, poise, personality and beauty. There is r.o swimsuit competition. The 15-year-old Milfordite was chosen from among seven Mil- ford girls in the Milford Pageant in May, which is sponsored annually an-nually by the Milford Businessmen's Business-men's Association. They pay the $100 entrance fee to the state cent est and provide the winner with $100 expense money. Besides competing for the state title. Miss Yardley represents repre-sents Milford at all official functions, rides in parades, both in Milford and neighboring communities. On June 1st she crowr.ed the Milford Centennial Queen who will reign over the Centennial activities in Milford during this centennial year. She, Miss Jo Ann Price, Miliord's Centennial Queen ai:d her attendant, at-tendant, will represent Milford at the Beaver Jaycee Race Meet this weekend while Miss Yardley is competing in Salt Lake.
