Show FALCONRY PROCLAMATION EFFECTVE JANUARY 1 Few changes have been made on the Utah Wildlife Resources falconry proclamation which will become effective January 1, 1973. The proclamation will be effective until modified or rescinded by the Wildlife Board. Under the new proclamation, persons who bring birds to Utah for field meets and events may fly them on nongame birds (English sparrows and starlings) starl-ings) in order to keep them in top condition. They must obtain a certificate of registration. The proclamation also provides pro-vides that persons who have birds legally taken in other slates may fly them on unprotected unpro-tected wildlife in Utah for the iirst 60 days while establishing residency. Between 30 and 35 falconry permits are sold yearly. |
