Show work with facts not hearsay. At the same time, we recognize, recog-nize, that it is sometimes easier for small town police to look the other way, than to enforce crrtain laws. Officers seldom operate in a vacuum, generally there are local citizens as witnesses. wit-nesses. It is their duty to assist as-sist and insist that the officer perform his duty. Red U . To the Editor: I would like to air my views on our so called law enforcement. enforce-ment. I think they all are getting paid for a job they do not do. All I see that they accomplish is sit on Main Street and try and try to catch someone going go-ing over the speed limit, or sit in the Hong Kong and drink coffee or down at the bar making mak-ing sure they are closed down by midnight. We also believe that it is the duty of each citizen to help with law enforcement, and if Mrs. Hardy has any evidence of drug traffic, traf-fic, criminal activities, or any other law violations, she should report the same to the police, and back it up with a signed complaint.
