Show siting their daughter, Dale and Elaine Baldwin. Nettie Myers, Lois Pierson and Lelia Carter spent Saturday Satur-day in Parowan on business. Ross and Eleanore Marshall and Garrold and Marybelle Eyre had supper in Cedar City Saturday night, the occassion being Garrold's birthday. Marshall and Nellie Hollings-head Hollings-head and Eleanore Marshall attended at-tended a regional MIA meeting meet-ing in Beaver Sunday morning morn-ing to help plan for the Youth Conference to be held in Beaver Beav-er Stake in the spring. Steven Myers, son of Ted and Dorothy Myers, New Plymouth, Ply-mouth, and two friends stopped stop-ped at Nettie Myers over night. Tney were on their way to Phoenix, Ariz, where they will attend a trade tech college in that city. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn Black-burn spent the latter part of the week traveling in parts of Idaho and in northern Utah, They visited Elma's brother, Val and Dorothy Thompson in Tooele. Joe Miller, son of Kaye Miller, Mil-ler, had a few friends invited invit-ed to his birthday party on Monday. He is three years old. Visiting Lilly Lambson for two weeks is her sister Minerva Proctor of Antimony. On Saturday a group of friends attended the St. George Temple to witness the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Myers. Sherrie Lynn Marshall was home from Provo this week . visiting her parents Lee and Lynnea Marshall. Anna Jean Perkes mother from Richmond, Utah is visiting visit-ing for a few weeks with the Perkes family. Wilma Davis and Pam Mc-Mullin Mc-Mullin was in Salt Lake during the week on business. Rod McMulllin celebrated his 6th birthday with a party for a few of his friends on Friday. Mr. end. Mrs. David Myers and family Delta spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday visiting with his father Ern and Shirley Myers. My-ers. Daisy Gillins attended the American Legion and Auxiliary opening social in Milford on Saturday night. I want to especially es-pecially thank them for their invitation and for the lovely corsage presented to me. The MIA Road Shows will be presented October 3 and 4. The theme is "Elections" The first night will be at the Beav-pr Beav-pr High School at 7:30 and Oct. 4 will be in Minersville and Milford at 7:30 at the LDS Church. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Al-brecht Al-brecht are moving their trailer houses to Cedar City for the winter, while the men attend college. Sunday guests for dinner at the Marshall Hollingshead's were Doug and Madelyn Neil-son. Neil-son. They are going to leave for school in Logan this week. Also going to school in Cedar City is Doris Hollingshead. Garrold and Marybelle Eyre motored to Logan on Sunday to take their daughter, Lori, to school. Lettie Gibson went as far as Provo with them to visit her son, Billy Gibson and family. Delroy Craw, Jr. was here over the week visiting his parents, par-ents, Delroy and Eleanore Craw. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gillins and son from Arizona are here for a few days visiting his parents, par-ents, Clark and Mary Gillins. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Jameson and son, Bountiful, were here over Sunday visiting his parents, par-ents, Delbert and Effie Jame-' son. Armina Banks visited in Cedar Ce-dar City for a few days with her son, George and Loretta Banks and family. The program in Sacrament meeting Sunday night was a talk by Katie Hollingshead, a song, My Testamony by LaNell Dotson and talks by Kathy and Rex Brown. The American Legion Auxiliary Auxi-liary will have a bake sale on Saturday morning at the post office building. Pinochle was held at the home of Jean Carter with Jean and Donna Carter as hostesses. The prizes were won by Eleanore Elea-nore Marshall, Florence Wood and Margaret Ann Williams. A lovely lunch was served to the above and to Carla Eyre, Lynnea Lyn-nea Marshall, Edith Marshall, Joanne Eyre and Merle Gillins. . Fay and Betty Marshall were in Logan during the week vi- |
