Show Ilamp and Benita Bulk had as visitors this week. Mickie and Sherri Miller of Tooele, Mr. and Mrs. Eamore C. Nord, Rivei.sidc, Calif., friends for many years. Also stopping by was Ilamp's nephew, Jerry and Judy Skinner of Las Vegas Nov. Home for the weekend from Tooele and at the home of his paients, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Acklin, was 'Willie' Acklin. Visiting the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter this past week were, Mr. and Mrs. Bruc i Fctheringham and son Scott of Cedar City, and Mrs. Bill Fo-thcringham Fo-thcringham and daughter Lani Lee of Madrid, Spain. Mrs. Bill Fotheringham was here to enroll en-roll Lani Lee at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. She also visited a son, Craig Fothering ham, who 'is attending BYU. . Visiting for a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rodgers were their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Den-nis Gubler and children, Warren, War-ren, Craig. Shona and Denna of Yermo, Calif. Then their other daughter, Winona Rodgers Rod-gers of Las Vegas, came home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rodgers, her brothers, iM-r. and Mrs. Reed Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gil-lins Gil-lins of Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Gillins of Henderson, Nev., and sister, Nina Bingham of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. Al Mosher of Minersville, spent the latter part of last week traveling to and from St. George, where their sister, Mrs. Orvil Neilson of Riverside, Calif., has been on the critical list following an auto accident that claimed the life of her husband, Orvil Neilson. The couple was coming to attend a family reunion. Mrs. Rodgers reports her sister is improving. Correspondent Sally Rose Phone 387-5515 or the News office 387-2881 Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Killam and daughter Krissie drove to Orem to attend the wedding reception of a nephew, Dan Thomas, and to spend a couple of days visiting her brother and wife, Eldon and Helen Thomas and family. They drove on to Salt Lake to visit a daughter, Con and Kathy Hintze and a son John and Marsha Killam and boys. Spending the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Vernon, were Mr. and Mrs. Weston Vernon and daughters, Laurie and Vickie, of Salt Lake. While here the group, joined by the Weston's daughter, Bonnie Bon-nie Williams and her daughter Jana, enjoyed sightseeing at Zions Nat'l. Park. Helen Cook has returned home from a two week stay with her daughter, Eldon and Judith Oman and three children child-ren of Delta, Utah. Frank and Madge Thomp- son enjoyed a visit from their daughter, Blake and Betty Hyatt and son Darren of Sinclair, Sin-clair, Wyo. They spent a week here, and visited also in paro-wan paro-wan with his relatives. Stopping at the home of Harry Har-ry and Ada Rose was her brother, bro-ther, Ralph Patterson of Cali- ente, Nev. and his son, Cullen, and Joyce Patterson of Milt, Cclo. They also Visited Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Muir. Spending the weekend with the Roses were their son and family, Robert and Anna and children Robin and Ryan of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bealer, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Roth and Nick and Elizabeth Black of Salt Lake, Mrs. Pat Watson and son Mike and wife and three other Watson children of Nebr. were at the home of Al and Beverly Bealer, to attend the wedding and reception of Debra Bealer and Tod Marshall of Minersville. Miners-ville. Sheldon and Mary Albrecht and girls enjoyed a visit fromi their daughter Janice and husr band Alan Syndergaard of Salt Lake. They spent Labor Day in the Beaver Mountains enjoying enjoy-ing the autumn beauty. Arthur and Bonnie Johnson and family of Kaysville, spent the Labor Day weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lund. They visited visit-ed with Steve who will enter the Mission Home this weekend. week-end. Betty Terry, who is enrolled at Brymins (Medical-Dental Tech) in Salt Lake, was home1 over the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.' Charles Terry. Mrs. Naomi Hughes returned J - last week from a trip to Shreveport, La. with two of her granddaughters, Misses Connie and Beverly Hughes. While there they visited her son, Col. and Mrs. J. S. Hughes They met another son, Lt. Col. Nolan S. Hughes and daughters Karen and Julie of Washington D. C, at Gallup, N.M. where Julie will teach this school year. Karen will attend school at Boulder, Colo. Visiting from out of state at the home of Mrs. Marvel O'-Connell O'-Connell this past weekend, were her granddaughter, Kathleen Kath-leen Johnson and husband James and four children, Kenneth, Ken-neth, David, Jimmie and Robin from Oroville, Calif. Also visiting vis-iting were her daughter LaVera of Las Vegas. Visitors at the Ethel Smith home were her children, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith and three children of San Diego and Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, and three children of Cedar City, who spent the Labor Day weekend here with her. They1 had an enjoyable visit. Mr. and Mrs. George Bush had as their guests, theirl daughter (Margaret) Mr. and Mrs. James Holland and children chil-dren Christopher and Mariann of Wilmington, Calif. |
