Show Mr. and Mrs. M. E, Handley. Sharon Nichols was home from the BYU for the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays. Kim Ford of Kanab, who has just returned from a New Zealand mission, spent the week end at the S. W. Nichols home. Shirl Nichols left Wednesday for Salt Lake after receieving word that his mother, Mrs. Mary Nichols, had suffered a slight stroke. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Myers on Thanksgiving were his brother, John L. Myers and family of Las Vegas, and Mrs. Myers' father, Ernest Barlocker of Enterprise. Lola Lamb of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Pearson of Murray were in Milford on Thanksgiving, guests of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lamb attended an Odd Fellows meeting meet-ing in Provo Saturday. Veda Cox, a B Y U student, was at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. William Cox, over Thanksgiving. Stanley Fisher of Midvale spent a couple of days in Milford Mil-ford with his brother, Parley Fisher. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Spring and family of La Sal visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ropei. over the Thanksgiving week end. 1 Mr. and Mrs. William Ash-worth Ash-worth spent Thanksgiving with a son Don and family in Orem. Mrs. O. R. Smith returned to Milford Thanksgiving night after a two-month absence. She underwent eye surgery in Cedar City, and recuperated at the homes of her son John in Cedar City and Owen Jr. in Caster Valley, Calif.; also spending some time with her daughter Rosalie Klein in Berkeley, Ber-keley, Calif., and in Brigham City visited her son Albert and family. Mrs. Marvel Connell attended attend-ed funeral services for a cousin, cous-in, Pauline Hemenway, Monday, Mon-day, and Tuesday attended services for a brother James Wulffenstein, in St. George. Bob and Marge Schramm were in Salt Lake for Thanksgiving, Thanks-giving, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Schramm and two children. They also called on Dick and June Thompson in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Coon drove to Ogden Monday returning re-turning their little daughter Maine to the School for the Blind. She spent Thanksgiving here with her family. Mr. and Mrs. Kimmel Coon spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Salt Lake City. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vernon on Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing were Mr. and Mrs. Weston Vernon and family of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hatch and Mrs. Barbara Hatch of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. DuWayne Williams and family of Milford. Mrs. Arbiteen Davis and Mrs. Leola Dunham of Milford, and Mrs. Ross Fotheringham of Salt Lake, attended funeral services in Van Nuys, Calif., Wednesday, Dec. 2, for their brother, Harvey Fotheringham. 0 Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch enjoyed en-joyed having all four of their daughters and families home for Thanksgiving dinner, and the group stayed over Friday. Out of town visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Hansen, Douglas and Lee K. of Richfield;- Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hawkins Haw-kins and Larry K. of Salt Lake. Also enjoying the turkey tur-key dinner were Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Cook of South Milford, Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Handley of Milford, Mr. and Mrs. James M. Handley of Centerville, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy S. Wright and daughter Teresa Fawn of Milford. Mil-ford. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hawkins left Sunday for Las Vegas to spend a couple of days, before returning to their home in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. James M Handley of Centerville spent the week end with his father, Thanksgiving dinner at the home of their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crane. Bill Martin, who is attending attend-ing the University of Southern California, and Marlene Martin and a friend. Kent Alderman, students at the U S U, were here for Thanksgiving at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Martin. At the Tom Acklin home over Thanksgiving were Mr. and Mrs. Leland Craw and three children of Las Vegas and Linda Acklin and a friend. Joyce Fries, U S U students. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Griffiths Grif-fiths and two children of Delta, and Elaine Griffiths, a U S U student, were with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Griffiths for the Thanksgiving holidays. Mack and Iola Whittaker and two children of Salt Lake, and Laurel Young and Paul Woods-bury, Woods-bury, students at Snow College, were at the Roy Young home for Thanksgiving. Dave Tanner is confined to the Beaver County Hospital with a knee injury suffered Friday when he fell while carrying car-rying a heavy ladder. Mrs. Irene Posey is living with a brother in law and sister, sis-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hannes', while working at a Grand Central Cen-tral store in Salt Lake. O Carla McCulley recently joined the WACS, and is stationed sta-tioned in Alabama. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tom-sik Tom-sik entertained on Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing day for Gary and Shirley Anderson and children of Pleasant Grove; Eddie and Ra-mona Ra-mona Tomsik of Panaca, and Mrs. Eugene Hardy of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy James and two children of Sunset arrived ar-rived Friday and spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Tom James. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Elliott were in Las Vegas at the home of Paul and Lorraine Deert, and Mr. Elliott called on the Milford railroaders working in Las Vegas. Leland Thompson of Salt Lake spent the Thanksgiving holidays at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson, and calling on other relatives. Mrs. Earl D. Thompson and Mrs. Douglas Blackburn of Minersville are in Denver at the home of Mrs. Blackburn's son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Muir. j Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thompson Thomp-son and children of California were in Milford calling on Mrs. Josephine Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wadsworth and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Lorrin Hutch-ings Hutch-ings spent Thanksgiving Day with Robert and Anna Rose and baby in Salt Lake. All the children of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Myers, and their famiiles, were at home for Thanksgiving. Gale and Lola Banks attended attend-ed an open house at the Fort Douglas Officers Club. Senator Sen-ator Frank E. Moss was the guest speaker. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Baker and children of Salt Lake were dinner guests of his parents, 7Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baker, last Saturday. Craig Baker, son of the Lee Bakers, has just returned re-turned from a two-year mission mis-sion in Canada and he brought his girl friend, LaRae Dallon. Another son, Bill, has just completed boot training in Arlington, La. Rodney Ogden is at home between military, assignments. He has been stationed at Kees-ler Kees-ler AFB, Miss., and will be assigned to Cottonwood Radar Site, Idaho. 0 Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gilliam have returned from Atkin, Texas, where they attended funeral services for Mr. Gilliam's Gil-liam's oldest brother. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jackson Jack-son and children had a nice Thanksgiving holiday. Thursday Thurs-day they enjoyed Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing dinner in St. George with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Ott, and on Saturday a Jackson family reunion was held in Salt Lake at the home of Mr. Jackson's brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Richards. Mrs. Dell Fowles has been busy helping with new grandchildren. grand-children. She was in Spanish Fork when a daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bracken, Nov. 7, and on Nov. 21 she was present in Salt Lake for the arrival of another an-other granddaughter, born to Mr. and Mrs. Arden Fowles. O Dr. and Mrs. David Christiansen Chris-tiansen and children spent Thanksgiving with her parents in Provo.
