Show SANTA PLANS EARLY VISIT TO MILFORD Santa Claus will make an afternoon visit to Milford on Tuesday, Dec. 24, as well as his nocturnal calls the same night. Milford's Lady Lions, working work-ing with City Councilman John H. Davis, have arranged for the earlier visit of the jolly old gent, and will be on hand to assist Santa in passing out sacks of goodies to all children who meet him in City Park. Ben Briscoe, local airport manager, will fly Santa to Milford Mil-ford in his new plane, and the volunteer firemen will transport trans-port him from the airport to City Park, arriving at 2:30 p. m., where the treats will be distributed and Santa will shake hands with all the young boys and give each little girl a big hug. Mr. Davis also announced the anual Milford lighting and decorating contest, with first, second and third prizes for best decorated and lighted light-ed homes as well as business busi-ness house decorations. Judging will be completed before Christmas, and originality original-ity as well as attractiveness will play an important part in selection of the winners. |
