Show spent the week end in Tooele with their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Hodge and family. Mrs. Pryor remained in Tooele for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter spent last week in Salt Lake and Kearns. Mrs. Carter remained re-mained in Kearns to visit her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Holaway and family. children of Salt Lake have been visiting this past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dalton. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins and family spent the week end in Salt Lake attending the State Fair. Also visiting the Fair over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Jameson. They ,also visited their son Allen, who is attending school in the Capital City. O Kerri Wood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Wood, celebrated celebrat-ed her eighth birthday on Sept. 20th. All her classmates enjoyed en-joyed a party with her. . Last week Mr. and Mrs. Warren Gray wer ehosts to Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hartley of Las Vegas and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Smith of Beaver. O Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor This Week in MINERSVILLE as reported by GWEN PRYOR e Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Robinson Rob-inson of Beaver and Mrs. Bessie Bes-sie Pearson and daughters were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Wood. Larry Hollingshead motored to American Falls, Idaho, last Friday to visit his sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Cummings. Mrs. Ora Fotheringham accompanied him as far as Spanish Fork, where she will remain for a visit with her children. Jan Truman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman, will study at the B Y U this year. Richard Limb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Limb, will also enroll at the BYU. Rebecca Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Davis, has enrolled at the C S U. Marilyn Wood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wood, will continue her studies at the CSU this fall. O Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bettridge and family of Salt Lake visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. George Wood this week. Mrs. Eileen Terry and two children of Salt Lake are visiting vis-iting this week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins. Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin Wood have been vacationing the last two weeks. They took in the State Fair in Salt Lake and visited relatives in that area. They returned home for a few days and then continued their vacation in Los Angeles. They will return home this week end. Margaret and Bill Dalton motored to Las Vegas this week to visit Mr. and Mrs. Emil Nowers. They will also attend to business in California. Cali-fornia. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Dotson and family were week end visitors vis-itors in Salt Lake. A Toni Marshall, small daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Marshall celebrated her second birthday with a party last week. Several of her small friends enjoyed this event with her. Janet Marshall was hostess at a farewell party for Rebecca Baker at her home Friday evening. An evening of games; and visitnig was enjoyed and refeshments were served to all the seventh and eight grade girls attending. Mrs. Donna (Gillins) Moser and children of Provo were week end visitors with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Gillins. C Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, Madelyn and Gail were week end visitors in Richfield at the home of their son and daughter daugh-ter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cal-vin Eyre. While there they welcomed home their new granddaughter, born last week to Calvin and Bunny (Thompson) (Thomp-son) Eyre. Garold Eyre was honored by his family with a birthday dinner on Sept. 24. Dinner guests at his home were Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wunderlich of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Murdock, Beaver. A community farewell party was held for the Harold Baker family on Monday, Sept. 23, in the Minersville Ward recreation recrea-tion hall. A program, under direction of Anna Rae Carter, was given, titled "This Is Your Life, Harold and Melba." After the program games were played and refreshments were served. Our community will certainly miss this family with its abundance of talent and ever-ready friendship. However, How-ever, we wish them happiness and prosperity in their new home.
