Walker DICK WALKER FETED AT FAREWELL Elder Richard Marion Walker, Walk-er, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walker, was honored at a missionary mis-sionary farewell testimonial in the Milford Second Ward last Sunday evening, prior to his departure on Monday for the Mission Home in Salt Lake. He will serve in the West Greman mission field. Speaking during the services were William J. Fails, Elder Walker, Mrs. Janet Walker, his mother, and Bishop Rich- . ard Jones. Elder Waucer graduated from Milford High School in 1959, and that year was president of the Student Council. He attended American Legion Le-gion Boys State in 1958. After graduation, he served six months with the National Guard at Fort Ord, Calif., and attended the CSU for three years, receiving an Associate Science degree. He is a mmeber of the Mel-chizedek Mel-chizedek Priesthood. Out of town relatives attending attend-ing the testimonial were his mother and brother, Tommy, of East Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Fails and Mrs. Effie Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman, Minersville; Doug and Judy Erickson, Beaver, Beav-er, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Edwards, Eureka. |
