Show Marie Grimshaw, Dick Thompson Exchange Wedding Vows Miss Marie Grimshaw, duaghter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Grimshaw of Beaver, became the bride of Mr. Richard Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson of Provo, Saturday, June 10, in the Beaver First-Third Ward Chapel, with Bishop Chase Murdock officiating. The maid of honor was Miss DyAnn Riley, and bridesmaids were Miss Julie Ann Farrer, Miss Madge Pearce, Miss Jean Smith and Miss Carlie Fother-ingham. Fother-ingham. Ushers were Neil Grimshaw, Jerry Berger, Dan-ial Dan-ial Bedingfield, and best man was Phil Burton. Preceding the wedding procession pro-cession were little Sheral and Gail Grimshaw, niece and nephew of the bride, with their basket of flowers. The bride was lovely in a gown an antikue satin Cahill oridigan Peau - de-sole, featuring fea-turing a boat neckline edged in re-embroidered alencon lace, with three - quarter sleeves, tight fitting , bodice, and floor length bouffant skirt ending in a chapel train. The bridesmaids were lovely in pastel gowns, and carried miniature bridal bouquets. The wedding was performed under a wedding arch hung with wedding bells and flowers flow-ers cascading down to large standing baskets of pink and white gladioli. Miss Cecelia Patterson sang "Till There Was You," accompanied by Miss Allie Muir, who also played the wedding march. The newleyweds were feted at a reception following the wedding. Bishop Clark was master of ceremonies for the interesting program. |
