Show NHS HI-LIGHTS By the Milford High School Journalism Class The Milford Tigers traveled to Richfield Friday, Dec. 16, to play the Richfield Wildcats. The Wildcats Wild-cats were really hot and hit more than their share of baskets. The score of this game was 63 to 50. The Tigers beat' the Cedar Redmen in a very exciting game here Saturday night. Dec. 17. The Tigers played good ball and kept the .lean most of the game. The score was 65 to 47, with Clark Dalton as high point man with 19 points. Keep up the good work, Tigers; we're all rooting for you. , ' . ' DRILLETTES '', ' . The Drillettes, a group from Pepwork Class, marched Saturday, Satur-day, Dec. 16, at the half of the Milford-Cedar game. They wore red ( and white putf its rand used batons. They performed many formations forma-tions " and . their march- was very good: ' J.n On Thursday the Kedettes will march and on Friday the Tall Pauls will march. CUBETTES Milford High School was in- ! vaded by Martians. This was our first impression of the Cubettes initiation held Friday, Dec. 16. This was an informal, as the girls are made Cubetes. Those being initiated were Linda Lin-da Acklin, Audrey Gillam, Illene Crane, Michelle Bird, Candy Grimshaw, Joyce Grimshaw, Beverly Bev-erly Hardy, Rita Hatch, Lena Galloway, Judy Naruse, Linda Roberts, Elaine Schow, Laura ' Sherwood, Maxine Stewart, Joyce j Yount, Sandra Wilcock, Cheryl : Wunderlich. COAST GUARD VISITS MILFORD HIGH Milford High School was visited vis-ited by a representative of the XJ S Coast Guard Academy Wednesday. Wed-nesday. He explained the Coast Guard Academy program, offered to seniors who can qualify physically and scholastically. JUNIOR ASSEMBLY The Junior Class presented an enjoyable assembly Friday, Dec. i6. Masters of ceremony were Hubert Smith and Lowell Mel-lor. Mel-lor.
