Show Services Held in Milford For Arthur Connell Funeral services for Arthur Henry Connell, 73, who died in i the Beaver County Hospital on Nov. 24, were held Monday in. the Milford LDS Chapel. Bishop Cecil Edwards offered the prayer, at the mortuary preceding pre-ceding the services. Mrs. Max Mecham played prelude pre-lude and postlude music. John R. Hardy offered the invocation. in-vocation. Max Mecham sang "The Lord's Prayer," accompanied by Mrs. E. L. Smith. The obituary was read by Roy Myers. A duet, "In the Garden," was sung by Mrs. Bud Whittaker and Deward Nay. Mitchell Fisher offered appropriate appro-priate remarks. "Going Home" was sung by Lamar Lund, accompanied by Mrs. Smith. Bishop Edwards pronounced the benediction. The grave in the Milford City Cemetery was dedicated by Bishop Bish-op Charles Terry. The Cedar City Lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks conducted con-ducted graveside services. Out of town relatives attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Wulffenstein of Eureka, Eure-ka, Nev.;; Mrs. Ted Lokey, Sacramento, Sac-ramento, Calif.; Mike Connell of Cedar City; McMurrin Wulffenstein, Wulffen-stein, Mrs. Lucile Bement, Mrs. Polly Hemenway, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wulffenstein and Mrs. Eva Coates, all of St. George; Mrs. George Connell and Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Schmutz, Cedar City; and friends, Otto Steinback of Baker, Oregon; Mrs. Bess Fitzsemger, Mrs. Thomas Lawrence, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Stephenson, Cedar City. j |
