Show the Upper Colorado River projects with private utility systems in Wyoming, Wy-oming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Mexi-co, and Arizona. The senator pointed out that under un-der reclamation law attention must be given to the requirements of preference customers, and askd for specific information on the proximity proxim-ity of the proposed private utility lines to load centers or intercommunication intercom-munication points with preference customers. Moss Asks for 'No Commitments' on Power Transmission. Senator Frank E. Moss (D-Utah) has asked the Secretary of the Interior, In-terior, Fred A. Seaton, to mko no commitments on the transmission system program of the Upper Colorado Colo-rado River Project until the department de-partment makes a full disclosure of its plans to the Senate Interior and Insular Affairs committee, and the committee has had an opportunity oppor-tunity to study them. In a letter sent to Secretary Sea-ton, Sea-ton, Senator Moss said his request was prompted by the publication in the November 30 issue of Electrical Elec-trical World of a full-blown plan for a transmission system linking |
