Show Mention Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline will leave Saturday to spend the Christmas holidays with their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Madsen, in St. Louis. They expect to return to Milford for New Year's. Mr. and Mrs. Armon Whiting and Mr. and Mrs. Ruy Whiting attended at-tended the golden wedding anniversary anni-versary celebration in Manti last Saturday for Mr. Whiting's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. C. 0. Whiting. Mrs. Hilda Shields has been in Salt Lake this week and plans to return this Week end, acc6mpa-nied acc6mpa-nied by her daughter Shirleen, who will be at home until Jan. 3rd during Christmas vacation from the University of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Banks will spend Christmas with thier son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Hawkins of Pacoima, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Owen R. Smith will leave Monday for California where they will spend the Christmas Christ-mas and a vacation with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Owen R. Smith Jr. and Mrs. Rosalie Klein and daughter Waunice. Mrs. Rowena Winn and three children, Utahna, Becky and Darcy, are in Perris, Calif., with Mr.- and Mrs. Jess Cerdantes. Last Monday a group of friends called at the home of Mrs. Ada Winn to wish her. a happy birthday. birth-day. Included were Mrs. Rowena Winn, Mrs. Donna Winn of Milford; Mil-ford; Mrs. Loneda Banks, Mrs. Jennie Marquardson and Mrs. Merle Potter of Minersville, and a brother, Dan Harris of Panaca, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd White and son Gary of Logan will spend their Christmas vacation in Milford at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank White. ; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Garfield will leave Dec. 20 for the northern north-ern part of the state to spend the Christmas holidays and a vacation va-cation with their two children and families, Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Johnson John-son at Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Neil Garfield in Magna. Dr. and Mrs. D. A. Symond and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Wiseman were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Garfield in observance of the Garfield's 32nd wedding anniversary. anni-versary. Christmas guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Baxter will be their son, Wade Meadows of Camp Pendleton, Calif., and Mrs. Baxter's mother, Mrs. R. E. Roane of Sylmar, Calif. They will remain in Milford until after the holidays. Mrs. Jeanette Kohler was in Salt Lake last week end to see her sister, sis-ter, Helen Bracken, and Mrs. Bracken's daughters Lynnette and Lee, before the group left for Victoria, Vic-toria, Calif., where they plan to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. William Ashworth plan to spend Christmas in Cedar City with their son in law and daughter,. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Keetch left last week for Pleasant Grove to be with Mrs. Keetch's mother, Mrs. Pearl Wadley on her 84th birthday. A family dinner and social so-cial was given in her honor. Recently Mr. and Mrs. William Ashworth received word that their son Monty has been appointed manager of a Hot Shoppe restaurant restau-rant in Arlington, Va. Monty is the youngest manager in this restaurant res-taurant chain. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bonadurer and children will leave Dec. 24 for Whittier, Calif., to spend Christmas Christ-mas with Mrs. Bonadurer's folks. Expected holiday visitors in Milford Mil-ford will be the son and daughter in law of Mr. and Mrs. Volney Wise. Dean and family will leave their home in Minneapolis by plane and Mr. and Mrs. Wise will meet them at the Salt Lake airport. air-port. 0 Mrs. Heber Myers of Salt Lake was an overnight visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wadsworth. Mrs. Lena Morris has left for California where she will spend the remainder of the winter with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Morris and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Morris in Los Angeles, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tanner in Ca-noga Ca-noga Park. |
