Show COMING UP for Christmas Week A Christmas party and election of new officers are on the agenda for the G I A ladies. It has been set for Thursday, Dec. 17, at the home of Mrs. Esther Blake. Assisting As-sisting her with the entertainment will be Mrs. Vella Stephenson of Cedar City, Mrs. Magdalena White and Mrs. Ethel Killam. Saturday, Dec. 19, the Milford Medical staff and partners will meet at the Dr. D. A. Symond home for their Christmas party. Dinner will be served, after which a social will be enjoyed. A Cub Scout Pack Christmas party will be held Dec. 19 in the LDS Church. Sunday, Dec. 20, at 1 p. m., candy can-dy and treats will be given to all Milford area children by Santa Claus, at the B & J Club. A Free Show for the children will be a Firmage Theatre holiday feature, immediately after the children visit Santa Claus at the B & J Club, Sunday, Dec. 20. Holiday cartoons will be featured. fea-tured. The Beaver LDS Stake Rose Prom will be held in the Milford LDS Church at 8 p. m. Monday, Dec. 21. The American Legion Auxiliary annual Christmas Party will be held Monday, Dec. 21, at the home of Mrs. Metta Weston. On the entertainment en-tertainment committee are Mrs. Weston, Mrs. Ida Smith, Mrs. Letha Smyth. After the business meeting a social and exchange of gifts will be enjoyed. Monday, Dec. 21, will also be the date for the annual ESA Sorority So-rority Christmas party. Hostesses will be Mrs. Symond, Mrs. Selma Kirk, Mrs. Helen Banks and Mrs. Virginia Davis. Dinner will be served at 8, followed by a social and opening of gifts. Dec. 22nd the W S C S ladies of the Methodist Church will hold their regular business meeting, followed by a Christmas Party, in the church annex. Officers and teachers of the Second Ward Primary will entertain enter-tain their husbands and guests Friday, Dec. 18. Dinner will be served at 7:30, followed by a social. The Second Ward Relief Society will hold their Christmas party at 1 p. m. Tuesday, pec. 22, in the Relief Society Room. After the luncheon, the ladies will enjoy a social and exchange of gifts. Wednesday, Dec. 23rd, both the high school and elementary school will recess for the holidays, returning re-turning to classwork on Monday, Jan. 4. It is expected the grades will move into the new elementary element-ary school over the holidays. The Hong Kong Cafe will be the setting Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 7 p. m., for a social hour and dinner din-ner for the Lady Lions. Afterward the ladies will retire to the Methodist Meth-odist Church to sack candy for the arrival of Santa Claus, Thursday. Hostesses are Mrs. Grace Jefferson, Jeffer-son, Mrs. Dorothy Kizer, Mrs. Jeanette Kohler and Mrs. Bonnie Friar.
