Show THE VERY HAPPIEST CHRISTMAS By Kathryn Truman It was a week before Christmas. Christ-mas. Ann and David were orphans. or-phans. They wanted a home very badly but they knew they wouldn't get a home. They had no money to buy presents. Three days 'before Christmas a man came to the orphanage to choose someone. How Ann and David wanted to get a home for Christmas, but he didn't take anyone. any-one. Ann and David were very disappointed when he left. The days went very fast. Soon it was Christmas Eve. The orphanage or-phanage had a little party and that night Ann and David were very sleepy and went to bed. After they went to sleep the man who had come three days ago had decided to take Ann and David. Da-vid. He had decided he would take them Christmas Eve before they went to bed but they were asleep so he took them asleep. They did not wake up until morning. morn-ing. In the morning they didn't know where they were until their new father told them it was to be their home. They were very happy. hap-py. They had some very nice present. pres-ent. Ann said "This is the very best Christmas in the whole world." |
