Swing It Furious, Freshies . . . the Weber college ballroom, was one of the social high lights of Weber's winter calendar. The unique cabaret theme made the dance outstanding. Glamorous coat and hat check girls in abbreviated attire greeted each guest beneath the gay canopied entrance. The ballroom donned a sophisticated night club air with its many tiny white topped dining tables lining the room. From a shiny black and silver bar in one corner dancers were served refreshments. Glen Brewer thinks that Scandal is a column that should not be read. Claims Glen: "Gosh, I pull out line No. 7 to use on them and they refer me to last Friday's scandal column. I can't help it if I don't have a different line for every woman. It certainly cramps my style." It seems Druce Foutz is still going strong that is Morris, Con Morris. And we'd like to import a special table for Don Roush to dance on. After hearing of his prowess at the Journalistic convention at Greeley. Well now, we hear that this business of the Men's Prep club dating Rick's girls both Friday and Saturday night is causing quite a rumpus. But after all who could blame the Weber gals for objecting just a wee bit? It's pretty difficult to keep up with all the latest romances, but this one of Dan Curtis' and Athlene Cordon's looks like a sure thing. That journalism convention was quite the thing. Don Roush, we hear, put on a one-man vaudeville. Pete, Brewer and Bowen took care of the Denver coeds, and Wilmer Perry guarded his angel's halo for dear life.
