From Dr. Belts. Salt Lake City, Aug. 8. IS!)". Mr. John R. Wallis, Fditor Washington County News. St. George. Utah. My dear Mr. V.'allis: T have just received your valuable paper containing a synopsis of my, article as read before the ''Rocky Mountain Inter-State Association." I note it is copied from the '-Deseret News.'' The published part of my paper in the daily press is very misleading, and gives the impression im-pression it was all printed whereas only about one-third of the article appeared. ap-peared. To my mind the most important impor-tant part of my paper was not 7trinted. It did not speak of the autopsis on which I based my knowledge of the disease, and without which the paper would not have been possible. Thus you can see I am greatly indebted to Dr. J. T. Affleck and the family physicians, physi-cians, as well as to the immediate families and friends of the unfortunate men, for what little credit I am getting get-ting for presenting the matter, which proved interesting and instructive from a scientific standpoint here, as well as of local interest to you at St. George. Thanking you all for your kindness and courtesy. I am very truly, W. W. Betts. a-- Beautiful Flowers.
