A very nice little shower of rain fell on the night of the Pith inst., a good rain would be appreciated in this part of the country. Mrs. Sue Johnson and son, Thomas, arrived home from Beaver on the 11th inst. They had been there to sell fruit and buy Hour. Bishop Jones and wife arrived home from Milford Sunday. They had been there to see their son off on a mission to the Southwestern States. More of our young people attended the M. I. A, Conference at Buukerville. So many were away that it was impossible im-possible for anybody to attend. A. C Crosby and his Sister, Mrs. Lena Stewart, left 011 the 15th inst. for Los Vegas. Mr. Crosby is going to Eldorado Canyon to work during the winter. M. I. A. missionaries Maxwell and Frei paid us a visit last evening and gave us some timely instructions. They left for Bunkerville on the 15th inst. We say, "Come a little oftencr and stay longer brethren." Utc W. Perkins, Charles Cobb, Edward Syphus, Harry Gentry and J. S. Huntsman, returned on the 13th inst. from Pioche, where they had been as witnesses in the suit brought against the Muddy Valley Iriigarion Co. by B. F.
