Show AVomun inflicted for Murder. St. Louis, Nov. lrt. The Post Dispatch Dis-patch this afternoon says Mrs. Henry Bamberger, a midwife living on Chouteau avenue, has been arrested on a ben-ch warrant sworn out on information inform-ation laid before the grand jury, which charges that she has knowledge of the murder of at least three women and destruction of scores of babies. The storj' related by the witness is almost inci edible. The tales deal with the disposition of bodies in a revolting manner. If all the allegations be true, the home of the accused is a veritable charnal house. Five indictments were found against Mrs. Bamberger late this afternoon by the grand jury. One charges murder in the first degree, three charge manslaughter man-slaughter in the first and one in the second degree. A Mouse Almost Causes Death. A little mouse gnawing through Ui rubber feed tube connected with a gi' stove in tho bed room of Kate and Lizzie Kelly, dressmakers, of Scran-ton, Scran-ton, Pa., nearly caused tho young women's wo-men's death by asphyxiation.
