He reports about twenty men working on the reef, getting out a good quality of silver ore. The mill has closed down for two weeks after running run-ning through 100 tons of ore averaging 35 to 40 ounces of silver to the ton. About the same amount of ore of similar simi-lar quality is on hand which will be run through when the mill resumes running.
