Show OUR CORRESPONDENTS. 1MXE VALLEY. Several Pine Valley people are going to St. George for conference. Peter Jacobson and wife have gone to St. George on business and pleasure. James and Hyrum Jacobson and Robert Gray returned from the west a few days ago. When we got up Monday morning everything was white with snow, thru the day sleighs were out. Pteuben Gardner and wife, Mrs. Mettie Gardner, and Mrs. Mary G'ox started to St. George Monday morning to labor in the Temple there. Mrs. Hannah Vance and son Joseph returned from Salt Lake City on the 2nd inst. Airs. Vance had been to Salt Lake on business connected with her mother's property. TOQUEEMLLE. Arrived too late for last issue. Grandma Spilsbury is quite ill. Apricots and almonds are in bloom. The people are gardening. Lorenzo Bringhurst and Hyrum Jacobson have gone to Lund for freight. Work at the town spring is still in progress, and the people are much encouraged en-couraged to find the water increasing. The Hyperian Club was entertained at the home of James Naegle Wednesday Wednes-day evening by the retiring officers of the association. George and Adelaide Jackson have gone to Cedar City, Sister Emma Naegle is also in Cedar City under modical treatment. |
