Show Regular Shipments Promised. Manager W. W. Old, of the Dixie Mining Co., left for Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mr. Old told the editor of this paper that the smelter is shut down for about ten days awaiting gasoline gas-oline and charcoal, which should have been here;, the gasoline is now at Modena. Mr. Old expects to ship a carload of high-grade ore each week. 5 tons of bullion, and 4A tons of ore left here on Monday for Modena which, with the 9000 lbs of ore at Modena, will make a carload. "We intend," said Mr. Old, ''to make things lively at the camp, and work will be prosecuted vigorously." "I shall be gone about ten days, during that time Foreman George Milne will have charge of the working of the mine." |
