Dixie Rich in Copper. ' Deseret News. The Dixie group of mines near St. George, has on the market a shipment of ore showing values of Hi per cent copper, 4 ounces silver and a trace of gold to the ton. J. C. Griffiths, who recently made an inspection and has just become interested in the mines, savs there is a splendid showing of this class of ore. while there is an abundance abund-ance of second class which will average aver-age 15 per cent copper, making the group an A 1 proposition. The ground is being thoroughly developed and a reduction plan is now in course of erection.
