Show Fire entirely destroyed the house of Johu Morse and family Thursday after-noi.n. after-noi.n. Mr. Moix-e was working outside the hijuse ,it the time the fire started and cannot account for its origin. The family lost all they possessed, clothing, bedding, furniture, etc., and rnuch sympathy is felt for them. II. II. Harder formerly of Omaha, Nebraska, has invested in a large tract of grazing and. agricultural land near St. George, Washington county, and will engage in dock growing. Mr. Harder is a mar. with means and exceptionally ex-ceptionally fine business ability, a combination com-bination which cannot fail of success in Utah agricultural pursuits. -Industrial Utah. Isaac Jennings came in from the Grand Gulch mine Wednesday for supplies sup-plies and to secure teams fpr hauling ore from the mine. He reports lots of ore being taken out of the mine. The last strike reported in T-je News last week runs from ten to twelve feet of 60 per cent copper, and there is four other bodies of from fou to six feet which average 47 per cent copper. Mr. J ennings left for the mine again Thursday. Thurs-day. Thomas Jennings has gone pn to Kingman, Arizona, from the mine. |
