Show 1'IXTO. The weather continues dry and warm-Ciranville warm-Ciranville Pace has gone west with goods. Mrs. E. Barlocker of Enterprise is here on a visit. The farmers are beginning to wonder, what will the harvest be. Mr. and Mrs. Pendelton of Enterprise Enter-prise were here today, the 5th inst. E. B. Thornton is in from his copper mine and says ore is showing up nicely. B. F. Knell has sold his place here and has bought a share in the Cedar City drug store. He expects to spend most of his time in that place. The six-months-old daughter of Mrs. Mary Cox died on the 2nd inst. The child's father is on a mission. The parents have the sympathy of many friends. Joseph Piatt is just home from the iron mines. He says that twenty-six sticks of giant powder exploded on February 4th tearing up the earth for twenty-five feet and cutting large trees half thru at a distance of lii'ly feet. Fortunately no one was hurt. |
