Show Bnrled Treasure Found. Cincinnati, O., May 7. Buried treasure trea-sure in the shape of eleven SI, 000 bonds, bearing undipped coupons which add several thousand dollars to their value, were found by Thomas Lawson, a negro laborer, while digging dig-ging in the cellar of a down-town department de-partment store on Sixth street. The ground was formerly the property of BrittingBros., piano manufacturers. This discovery solves a mystery which had been a source of angry contention among the heirs of Julius Britting, whose sisters brought suit against Martin Britting, a brother, charging him with having concealed the bonds. |
