To whom it may concern : Notice is hereby g-iven that the State of L'tah has filed in this ollice a list, No. tM, of lands selected by the said Slate for the establishment establish-ment and maintenance of a Keform School, under Sec. 1, of the Act of CoTifrress approved Juiy It, 181U. The following tracts, embraced in said list, are in a township containing mineral claims of record : The lot number six (ti), of Section seveu (?), in Township forty-one (11), south, and Ranp-e thirteen (13;, west, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. Meri-dian. A copy of said list, so far as it relates to said tracts, by descriptive subdivisions, has been conspicuously posted in this office, for inspection inspec-tion by any person interested, and by the public pub-lic freneraily, "During the sixty days next following the date of this notice, under departmental instructions of Nov. 27, 1896 (J3 h. D., -159), protests or contests con-tests against the claim of the State to any of the tracts or subdivisions hereinabove described, de-scribed, on the ground that the same is more valuable for mineral than for acricultural purposes, -will be received and noted for report to the General Land Oitiee at Washington, D. C. Failure so to protest or contest -w ithin the period specified will be considered sufficient evidence of the non-mineral character of said tracts, and the selection thereof, bein: otherwise other-wise free from objection, will be recommended for approval.
