Deceased De-ceased came to St. Georyte in 18h2. and hits resided here since that date. He was married on December 22, IS,"-','!, in the Temple at this place to Jane Thomas, by whom he had si.x children, his wife and live children being' left, to mourn his loss. Bro. Carter was sun-strttek sun-strttek in June last year, and has never been quite well since: he had a stroke of paralysis in July last year. Since June he had three sunstrokes, the last one occurring- last month at Leeds wdiile he was enroute home from Mil-ford. Mil-ford. Since July 1S!)S he had three strokes of paralysis, the last of which caused his death. Funeral services were held in the Tabernacle on Monday, the speakers being Fillers John S. Woodbury, D. D. McArthur, David H. Cannon, John e! Pace and Thomas B. Cottam. Deno,.Q. ed did much work in the Temple, and died a faithful Latter-day Saint.
