Show PIXE r.VLLEV. We have Religion class once a vjeek here now. We had a very nice time with Sister Cornelia Clayton and aids last Monday. Born A son to the wife of William A. Bracken on the 12th inst. All doing well. T, H. Gardner was here from St. George on the 14th inst., and went on to Grass Valley. Born A daughter tp the wife of Arthur Bracken on the 13th inst. It was a twelve pounder, All doing nicely. Nat Gardner, Asa S. Calkin, Lan Bracken, Joseph Vance, and T. H. Gardner intend starting westwards tomorrow the 16th inst. Our storm did not amount to rnueh. Five or six inches of snow fell, but it drifted badly and bare ground was soon seen in many places; but small storms are thankfully received now, LEEDS, Walter Elder and wife have moved" to St. George. Bert McQuarric was shaking hands with old friends here Wednesday. Our district school teachers attended tho Teachers' Institute held at Virgin on the 13th inst. Elders George E, Miles and H, A. McQuarrie were home missionaries here last Sunday, and gave us some very good instructions. Miss Daisy Hartman of Silver Keef was given a surprise by a party of her friends Tuesday evening. A very enjoyable en-joyable time was reported. |
