Show World Problems To Be Discussed By Faculty A series of topics on problems facing the modern world will be presented by Dixie college faculty members, starting Monday, Feb. ' 23rd, according to Pres. Glenn E. i Snow. ' These problems will pertain to the war, also to other situations 1 in the life of today. The talks 1 will be for approximately three-quarters three-quarters of an hour, after which discussion will be opened.' Topics of importance in the civilian de-I de-I fense program will be emphasized, , so that programs should be very ' interesting as well as filling a I vital need. The citizenry in general, as well as school people, are invited to attend. at-tend. The meetings will be held in the college aduitorium. The first topic will be, "Scientific "Scien-tific Aspects of Modern War", and will be presented by M. J. Miles, head of the division of physical sciences at the college and commander com-mander of the southern Utah di-' di-' vision of the civil air patrol. |
