Show M. J. Miles Announces Completion of Civil Air Patrol Here M. J. Miles announces the completion com-pletion of the organization of the St. George squadron of the Southern South-ern Utah unit of the Civil Air PatroL E. L. Anderson is commander, Bert Covington, executive officer, Dr. L. W. McGregor, personnel and medical officer, Lee Owens, intelligence and public relations officer, Ray Butcher in charge of equipment and supplies, Merlin Milne, in charge of training and operation, Julio Paolasso in charge of transportation, Ray Hobbs, first instructor of cross-country course, and Creston Woodard in charge of communications. The organization will become an Army Air corps reserve and will start basic military training at once. It is the basic purpose of the organization to advance the private pri-vate pilots to the commercial rating rat-ing and be prepared for patrol service in case of emergency. |
