Show SHORT CREEK, ARIZ. Short Creek, Ariz. Short Creek and Cane Beds are going to join for a big celebration on the Fourth of July. They intend to go up Short Creek canyon and have a program, refreshments and sports, then return in the evening and have a dance in the school house. I. W. Carling is on Buckskin mountains working at the U. T. Park and expects to be home for the Fourth of July. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lauritzen have moved up to Cedar for the summer sum-mer and have rented their farm to P. W. Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Johnson have gone to Lees Ferry for the summer and expect to return when school opens. Miss Edna Black just returned from Glendale, where she has been working the past two months. F. T. Johnson of Hurricane, has been out here for a few days looking after his cattle. Warren Black has returned from, Nevada, where he has been working for some time. , Orlin G. Colvin is out on the mountain working in the big timber. There are no dry land crops being raised on account of the drouth. J. E. Black is helping I. H. Gallagher Gallag-her build his new home. |
